Materials & Ingredients

PowerHeal® is a polyester bioelectric bandage with embedded microcell batteries made from elemental silver and elemental zinc. In the presence of moisture, PowerHeal® creates electricity designed to boost the electrical energy your skin naturally creates and uses in the healing process. It also effectively kills up to 99.99%* of bacteria at the wound surface. Used to help heal a wide variety of wounds like cuts, scrapes, abrasions, blisters, and more.

Note: You will need to purchase your preferred sterile absorbent pad (optional) and secondary covering to help maintain wound moisture and keep the PowerHeal® bandage in place.

Energel® ingredients include reverse-osmosis water, polymer, humectant, preservatives (methylparaben, propylparaben). Used to cover a wound to protect against abrasion, friction, drying out, and contamination. It can also be used to activate PowerHeal® products.

Powered by patented, FDA-cleared technology. PowerHeal® and Energel® Products DO NOT contain natural rubber latex.

    Heals quickly

Injury to toe, wasn’t healing well, used bioelec sheet and gel. Now after 4 days is much better, almost healed.

Only complaint is that with my wound on side of big toe, bandage is too big to stick well. I use a cut strip of bandage and gel covered with a piece of silver calcium alganate pad and coban. Gel packet too big for single use, actually saved open gel pack and used for 3 days.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your positive experience with PowerHeal™ Bioelectric Bandages. As you found, bandaging on the toe / foot area can be challenging and it sounds like you solved well for it; using PowerHeal™ with NO Adhesive and cutting it to fit works well, then choosing you preferred absorbent pad and adhesive wrap (like the Coban you mentioned) to maintain moisture and keep it in place. The Energel packet is indeed sometimes more than you will need for small bandages – we hear you and are working on ways to solve for this.

We wish a continued speedy and complete recovery. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to email us at hello@powerhealwounds.com. We’re here to help.

    Great Idea

I love the idea because I heal really slowly. I have the product. But it is waiting till I have an accident to use it.

    Long Term Pressure Wound

It's too soon to say how much this kit is helping to heal my long term diabetic pressure wound on the site of a toe amputation. I can comment on the ease of use of the product and that it is very gentle on my foot. There is no infection in the wound since I began to use it.

    Review

For the money, this is a better product to buy over the adhesive kit. I've used this for 10 days total and haven't seen any real healing. What I have seen in my wound widen and weep more which is not what I want. I really thought this was going to be the product that was going to work miracles and release me from the enslavement of the weekly doctor's visit.

Frequently Asked Questions

How is PowerHeal® different from ordinary bandages?

PowerHeal® does more than just cover a wound, it helps heal it. Each PowerHeal® bandage is embedded with moisture-activated microcell batteries. When you apply PowerHeal® bandage on your skin, it starts by creating that essential moist wound environment, and adds critical antibacterial protection along with added electrical support to enhance your skin's natural healing process.

When should I choose PowerHeal® With Adhesive versus with No Adhesive?

PowerHeal® with Adhesive is a good choice if you are looking for an all-in-one solution (PowerHeal® pad + adhesive + absorbent pad included) and you do not have sensitive skin. PowerHeal® with No Adhesive is a good choice if you have sensitive skin. PowerHeal® with No Adhesive can also be cut into smaller pieces or combined with more bandages if your wound is a challenging shape or size. Remember, if you choose No Adhesive, you will need to provide your own preferred covering(s) to absorb drainage and keep the bandage in place.

Is there proof that PowerHeal® works?

Yes. PowerHeal® has a strong base of published studies on the effectiveness of its use in a wide variety of wounds.
